What do I wear?

Any comfortable, non-restrictive gym/workout wear. Expect to SWEAT!

 

What type of footwear do I need?

Aerobic shoes, cross trainers and jazz/hip hop sneakers are all suitable. Running shoes are made for forward motion and may have too much tread for side to side movements and directional changes (causing strain on the knees).

 

What do I bring?

Please bring water and a towel.

 

What happens in a ZUMBA® class?

Zumba classes run for one-hour and begin with a cardio and toning warm-up. This is followed by 8 – 10 easy-to-follow routines that include various Latin and international dance styles such as Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton and even Bellydance, Bollywood and more! All classes finish with a cool-down.

 

Do you teach the exactly the same routines/sequence in every class?

No. We teach a large variety of routines/choreographies. You will learn new, fun routines and moves but also get a chance to go over your favourites and improve every time you come back!

 

Do I need to have dance experience?

No! Dancers and non-dancers alike can immediately enjoy and benefit from Zumba classes. Routines are fun with plenty of repetition so beginners can follow from their very first class!
